When you can married by a justice of the peace or the like, it's no longer strickly a religious issue. Jesus was the one that said "blessed are the meek", "love thy neighbor" and "we are all Gods children" (I would like to put the emphasis on the word "All" in that last quote). We need to stand up for those that are oppressed and don't have a voice. Supporting this measure could have been the most Christian thing you could have done. This great land of ours is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. To not vote "yes" for this issue, you proved once again that freedom can still be limited to some and cowards like yourself will support the mob mentality instead of standing up for the basic civil rights on individuals. I've been happily married for 13 years now. I can't imagine that someone could deny me the right to marry the one that I truely love. My friends and family are extremely disappointed, but unfortunately not surprised, by your decision on this matter.
