On Friday, March 30, 2012, the Women of Distinction, honoring Women in New York State’s 40th Senate District, will welcome its first class of honorees, recognizing one woman of distinction from each Town, Village, or City within the Senate District.

In April 2011, Ann Ellsworth, Executive Director of the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center, was honored in a ceremony in Albany, NY, representing the 40th Senate District as one of New York’s Women of Distinction. This April, one woman nominated by yourself and your colleagues throughout the 40th Senate District will also be honored in Albany, representing the 40th Senate District.

Towns, Villages and Cities district-wide are currently in the process of selecting their nominees. If you would like to suggest someone that is deserving of this honor please contact your town board.

I invite you to join me on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 6:00PM all of the 40th Senate District’s Women of Distinction, at a ceremony and reception.

Let’s make this a memorable evening for the women who serve our communities!

Greg is hosting a free Community Lunch in Peekskill and wants you to stop by! The FREE Lunch is open to the public, will include a pig roast, jerk chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages. Last year, hundreds of residents showed up to meet Senator Ball and enjoy some delicious BBQ. See you there!
