Albany realized that the Hudson Valley cannot bear the burden of the MTA’s mismanagement, and the MTA Payroll Tax has been repealed for 80% of taxpayers.

However, Senator Ball’s work it not done on this issue! He will continue to fight for a full repeal of the MTA Payroll Tax and he is calling for a forensic audit of the MTA accounting practices. 

 Please join Senator Greg Ball, Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos, local elected officials and business owners on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Historic Putnam County Courthouse for a rally to celebrate MTA Tax Freedom Day. 

Senator Ball asks that anyone in the Hudson Valley who still has to pay the MTA Payroll Tax come to the event with a sign that says “We are the 20%”.
