Ball presents grant at annual P.A.R.C. Cablethon

Assemblyman Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) will present a $6,000 state grant he secured to Putnam P.A.R.C. at the 17th annual ‘Partner with P.A.R.C.’ Cablethon on Saturday. P.A.R.C. is a leader in the Hudson Valley in providing families with advocacy and comprehensive personal services. The funds will go to assist the P.A.R.C. pre-school program offering essential services and specialized curriculum for those diagnosed with autism.

Ball, who recently wrote a letter of support to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism requesting an additional grant for P.A.R.C. to further expand their resources and capabilities, is the sponsor of the state’s first statewide autism insurance bill, Assembly Bill 3332. Ball is a past honoree of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism for his dedication towards raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders.

The Cablethon can be viewed on Comcast Cable Channel 8 and Ball is encouraging Hudson Valley residents to dial in and pledge their support for the organization.
