Thornwood, N.Y. – (5/5/12) Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) the Chairman of Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs toured the Thornwood Fire Department this past Saturday. Chief Rich Benkwitt gave Senator Ball the tour after the Thornwood Fire District Annual Inspection Ceremony.

Thornwood which is a hamlet of Mount Pleasant is part of the new 40th Senate district. The new 40th Senate district shifted south, picking up Mount Pleasant and New Castle while losing much of Dutchess county and western Putnam.
