DAILY BEDFORD: BEDFORD STATE REPS TO APPEAR AT TOWN BOARD MEETING

BEDFORD, N.Y. — State Assemblyman Robert Castelli (R-Goldens Bridge) and State Senator Greg Ball (C, R – Patterson), are scheduled to appear during Tuesday’s Bedford town board meeting.

Castelli will be on hand to present the 2010 Bedford Town Police Service Awards and Ball will give a legislative update.

The town board meeting begins at 8 p.m., but the board will have a work session on the 2012 budget prior to that at 7 p.m.

The following items will also be addressed during the meeting:

A public hearing will be set for changes to the water Code.

A request will be made to rebid a portion of the water transmission main from the filtration plant.

A public hearing will be set for a special permit renewal for the Crown Atlantic Company LLC cell tower on the Peckham Property.

A work session will be scheduled for the 2012 budget and other legislation.
