Spots are still open for state Sen. Greg Ball’s third annual veterans Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Over the past two years, Mr. Ball, whose 40th District includes Lewisboro and Katonah, has hosted an annual Thanksgiving dinner for local veterans.

This year’s dinner will be hosted at the Putnam County Golf Course in Mahopac, with seating at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. All local veterans are invited and may bring one additional guest.

In addition to urging more veterans to attend, Mr. Ball’s office is still accepting volunteers and donations for the dinner.

“Every year I look forward to this wonderful event,” he said in a press release. “It is one of the many ways we say thank you to those veterans that have so bravely served our nation.”

If you would like to RSVP, donate or volunteer for the ‘Honor Corps Welcome Team,’ please contact Mr. Ball’s office at 845-279-3773 or kgobins@nysenate.gov. (ARTICLE)
