SENATOR GREG BALL TO SPEAK AT MOUNT PLEASANT TOWN HALL MEETING
Brewster, N.Y. – (7/08/12) –Senator Greg Ball (R, C-Patterson), will be at the Mount Pleasant Town Hall Meeting in Valhalla on Tuesday night in an effort to meet constituents in the new parts of his district and to provide a legislative update from this past session in Albany.
“I’m visiting with my new constituents to hear their concerns and I remain totally focused on limiting government, cutting taxes and creating good, local, high paying jobs by finishing the good things I have started, in partnership with my Senate colleagues and Governor Cuomo! I genuinely look forward to representing the wonderful people of Mount Pleasant and New Castle,” said Senator Ball. “It is critically important to meet with the local leadership in the new parts of my rather large district to develop concrete goals moving into the next legislative session. I am here to help in absolutely anyway I can, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. By working with Governor Cuomo, in a bipartisan and effective fashion, we have accomplished great things such as cutting taxes for the middle class, repealing the MTA Payroll Tax, capping property taxes and passing responsible, on time and balanced budgets. That said, there is much more to be done to open New York State to business and get this state back on track for taxpayers, seniors, small business owners and working families!”
Tuesday nights meet and greet and legislative update will give residents a chance to speak one-on-one with Senator Ball and partake in a question and answer session.
The new 40th senate district will pick up the towns Mount Pleasant and New Castle while losing Bedford, western Putnam County and much of Dutchess County. Click here to see a map of the new 40th senate district.
