NYS SENATE HOMELAND SECURITY CHAIRMAN BALL ISSUES STATEMENT ON SHARON PASSING

Brewster, N.Y.  – 01/11/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R,C,I-Patterson), Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, issuing the following statement regarding the passing of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

“I join with my friends in Israel and freedom loving people around the world in mourning the loss of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. A leader of courage and strength, he leaves an enduring legacy of dignity and wisdom for all of history. The Holy Land and the entire Middle East benefited from his extraordinary talent and dedication to peace and security. I send my deepest condolences to the Prime Minister’s family and the millions who will dearly miss him,” said Senator Greg Ball
