Carmel, N.Y. – 5/1/2012-  Last night a fatal house fire broke out on Wyndham Lane in Carmel, NY. Authorities said, a veteran Larchmont police captain, his wife and two teenage daughters died in a house fire, and his son remains hospitalized.

Thomas Sullivan, 48, and wife Donna, 47, along with their family were trapped inside the house on Wyndham Lane when the first emergency responders arrived around 2 AM last night.

“I was deeply saddened when I heard the tragic news of the Sullivan family this morning. This is a deep and horrific loss that words cannot match. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and community,” said Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) in response to the news of the fire. “We are hoping for a speedy recovery of Thomas Sullivan Jr. and my office would like to extend a helping hand in any way we can.”
