Peekskill Area Pastor Association and Mount Olivet Welcomes Senator Greg Ball

Ball: “Dr King’s dream rests in your hands.”

PEEKSKILL, NY (01/17/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) addressed an audience of about 400 at the 27th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Interfaith Worship Service, co-hosted by the Mount Olivet Baptist Church and the Peekskill Area Pastor Association. The event featured a keynote address from Rev. Dr. Adolphus Lacey of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, as well as music and dance by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Youth Choir, Tuesday McDonald, Temple Israel Northern Westchester, Staj and Stajettes Dance Troupe, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Adult Choir.

Assemblyman Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) is the Senator for New York State's 40th district. A former Vice President of Exceed International Development Corporation, Ball holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy, is currently completing his Masters Thesis of Liberal Studies in International Affairs at Georgetown University, and received an honorable discharge in 2005 at the rank of Captain after service as an active duty officer in the United States Air Force.
