Sen. Greg Ball, R, Patterson, is accepting nominations for the second annual Veterans’ Hall of Fame, which will honor a veteran from each town, village and city in the 40th Senate District.

Towns, villages and cities district-wide will eventually nominate one person from each municipality. To nominate an individual, residents should contact local supervisors or town boards. Nominations are due by Sept. 7.

A ceremony and reception will be held Nov. 1 at Peekskill Middle School.

Last November, 27 veterans were honored at the Hall of Fame, which was designed to honor outstanding veterans from throughout the district. Each veteran will be included on a wall that will travel on display throughout the district. (ARTICLE)
