Mahopac, N.Y. – 03/19/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) joined the Putnam County Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick at their Annual Anniversary Dinner at Mahopac Golf Club.

This year, The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick honored Historian Walter Doherty with a lifetime achievement award. The association also posthumously honored David D. Bruen, founding member and past president.

According to their website, the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick is primarily a social organization that promotes and supports Irish cultural events. The society continues to contribute and perpetuate Irish history and culture throughout the region.
