Ball: “Heartless slap in the face to millions of Americans”

Brewster, N.Y. – 1/02/2012 – Today Senator Greg Ball (Patterson – R, C, I) applauded Congressman Peter King (R-NY) and joined him in calling out Congressional Republicans for their failure to allow a vote on the Sandy Relief Package. Ball serves as Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee and has seen firsthand the devastation suffered in his district and by millions of residents across New York State.

“Thank God for Congressman Peter King and his continued leadership for all New Yorkers. I applaud Congressman King for calling out his fellow House Republicans who delivered a heartless slap in the face to the millions of Americans still suffering from Hurricane Sandy. When one American suffers we all suffer and as a people we must stand up for what is right. Helping those in need should never be a partisan issue.”
