Putnam Senior Fair

Carmel, N.Y. – 04/04/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) teamed up with Putnam Hospital Center to host a free senior health fair to celebrate Putnam Hospital Center’s 50th anniversary on Friday morning.

“I was very excited to host a free senior health fair for our senior citizens to celebrate Putnam Hospital Center’s 50th birthday! This senior fair was a wonderful opportunity for seniors to come in to receive free information and services,” said Senator Greg Ball. “I am continuing my fight to deliver much needed funding for senior programs throughout the district, I’m also fighting to freeze school taxes for seniors and constantly working to support the concerns of individual constituents throughout my district.”

“For 50 years, Putnam Hospital Center has been in the forefront of providing quality healthcare to the senior members of our community,” said James F. Caldas, president of Putnam Hospital Center. “We are very pleased to partner with Senator Ball to further that commitment by offering a health fair that is specifically geared to them.”

Seniors were able to receive valuable information as well as blood pressure screenings, cholesterol screenings, heart health information, nutritional counseling, senior living accommodations, weight loss counseling, wound care counseling and more.
