Brewster, N.Y. – (4/01/13) – Senator Greg Ball (R,C,I – Patterson) is looking for nominations for his 2nd annual Women of Distinction Hall of Fame.

Created and hosted by Senator Ball, The Women Of Distinction Hall of Fame was designed to honor outstanding women from throughout the 40th Senate District. Towns, villages and cities district-wide are currently in the process of selecting their nominees and will eventually nominate one person from each town.

Senator Ball is asking residents to contact their town board or city hall to nominate a ‘Woman of Distinction’. Nominations are due by April 25th.

“The Women of Distinction Hall of Fame has been created to honor women that have chose a path of leadership, living a life of service before self,” said Senator Greg Ball. “I am urging residents that know someone worthy of this honor, to contact their town officials and submit a nomination.”

The ceremony will be hosted on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Putnam County Emergency Services Building starting at 2pm.
