Peekskill, N.Y. – (10/13/11) – Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) today visited the One-Stop Employment Center in Peekskill, N.Y. to get a better understanding of the services the center provides and help people find jobs. The Senator joined Peekskill Mayor Mary Foster for a tour of the Center, as well as the downtown district , where the pair discussed jobs and economic development.

“On the state level, I’m demanding that we go back to Albany and hold a special session focused on nothing but jobs,” said Senator Ball. “But I can’t sit around and wait for that to happen. People in my district are in crisis. So I’m teaming up Mayor Foster to identify the resources that are already out there to help people get back to work,” added Ball.
