Brewster, N.Y. – (12/23/2011) –Senator Greg Ball (R, C-Patterson) celebrated the holidays with Buchanan seniors at their annual Christmas Party, which was held at the Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant on Tuesday.

“I love my seniors and I love Buchanan! What a great afternoon spent with my friends! During the holiday season, the importance programs like this are even more recognizable,” said Senator Ball. “Without these outlets, many seniors would be ‘shut-in’ and we simply can’t allow that to happen, especially during these tough times.”

Gabriel DiRubbo, who organized the event, said the Buchanan senior community was overjoyed when Senator Ball walked through the door.

“It was really fabulous,” DiRubbo said. “Everybody really enjoyed him and they were flabbergasted that he showed up. Many times people in politics promise you things, but they never accomplish things. Senator Ball has an effervescent personality and it was so wonderful to see him speak to each senior individually— everyone really appreciated that.”
