Carmel, N.Y. – 9/19/2012 – Senator Greg Ball (Patterson – R, C) is now happy to announce, that as a result of a three-way agreement between the Governor, Senate and Assembly, funds are now available for a $50,000 capital grant for the Carmel Knights of Columbus Post #6318.

Senator Ball and the Members of the Knights of Columbus hosted a check presentation this past Wednesday. County Legislator Carl Albano said the grant money will be used for several  different improvements.

“The money will be used to replace an existing air condition system, upgrade kitchen appliances and also to install an outdoor meeting pavilion. The Knights of Columbus does so much for the community and a lot of these improvements are way overdue,” said County Legislator Carl Albano. “Senator Ball does  a fantastic job for the community , when we need him he is there.”

“Carl Albano and all of my good friends down at the Knights of Columbus do so much for the community, I couldn’t be happier to deliver this grant for them,” said Senator Greg Ball. “This facility is used by many in the community for family and civic events and these dollars should help make it even better. I am proud to fight to bring as much of our tax money back from Albany, to home, where it belongs. As long as I am in office I will continue to fight for the residents of Carmel and for all the constituents I represent district wide.”
