Brewster, N.Y. – (7/23/12) – Senator Greg Ball (R,C-Patterson), honored Carmel resident, Billy Staviski with a New York State Senate Proclamation in recognition for his twenty-two years of service to the New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association.

During Staviski’s 22 years as NYS Trooper he served Putnam, Westchester, and Dutchess Counties. He received the Hudson Valley’s Top Cop Award in 1995 and also the Drug Recognition Expert Award.  Staviski will continue to serve as Treasurer/CFO of the National Troopers Coalition, a position he has held since 2010.

“I have enjoyed protecting and serving the people of the Hudson Valley for the past twenty-two years and protecting and representing NYS Troopers for the past ten years,” said Billy Staviski. “I look forward to retirement spending time with my family and continuing to represent the State Troopers of the entire nation through my work within the National Troopers Coalition.  I am very thankful and extremely grateful for the recognition I received from our outstanding representatives in Albany and Washington DC, State Senator Greg Ball and Congresswoman Nan Hayworth with whom I was privileged to work with.”
