Peekskill, N.Y. – (4/16/11) This past weekend Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) hosted a free community BBQ in Peekskill, N.Y. Hundreds of constituents showed up to the cookout for a chance to meet Senator Ball face-to-face, as well as enjoy the great food and a beautiful day!

“Everybody loves food, so I figured, what better way to get to know the people of Peekskill and beyond than with a BBQ!” said Senator Ball. The cookout, which was open to the public, included a pig roast, jerk chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages

“It’s a great time and is great for the community, they really appreciate it,” said County Legislator John Testa. “Peekskill pride is in my blood and I am so happy the Senator feels the same way. What ever he wants to do for Peekskill, I will be right there with him.”

“Peekskill is a nice community, said Buchanan resident Will Hicks. “I don’t know too much about Senator Ball, but he is great. This is a great community BBQ”

“Peekskill is a family town. I have lived in Peeksill for about 15 years and wouldn’t change it for the world,” said resident Celeste Hill. “This BBQ is wonderful. It is great chance for us to meet Senator Ball in a casual setting!”
