Brewster, N.Y. – 01/20/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) issued the following statement in tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. day.

“Today, we pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a true American hero who lead the civil rights movement and devoted his life to the fight for justice and equality. Dr. King forcefully and eloquently shared his dream for our country, and helped inspire a nation to grow and change for the better. We should continue to honor Dr. King’s service by reflecting upon his accomplishments and dedication to equality. This week, I challenge all New Yorkers to honor Dr. King’s legacy by doing at least one act of kindness or by taking part in a meaningful community service project,” said Senator Greg Ball.
