SENATOR GREG BALL ISSUES STATEMENT ON PASSING OF PUTNAM’S FIRST COUNTY EXECUTIVE

Brewster, N.Y. – 02/05/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson), Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on the passing of David Bruen, Putnam’s first county executive.

“The passing of David Bruen comes as very sad news to all that knew and were touched by his kindness. He was a true statesman that left behind big shoes to fill and an even bigger heart. David made Putnam County a better place to work, live and raise a family; his legacy will live on through our thoughts, prayers and good deeds. My heart goes out to his beautiful family and I share the heartbreak of a county that will be forever touched by County Executive Bruen’s character and integrity. Mr. Bruen will forever be remembered and serves as a shining example for others in public life to emulate,” said Senator Greg Ball.
