SOMERS NOMINATES: STEPHEN MORAVICK TO SENATOR BALL’S VETERANS HALL OF FAME

Somers, N.Y. -(10/13/11) town board nominated resident Stephen Moravick to represent the community at Senator Greg Ball (R, C – Patterson) inaugural Hudson Valley Veterans’ Hall of Fame. The event is a chance to honor outstanding veterans throughout the 40th district for their commitment to their country. Each town in the 40th district will select a veteran to be honored at the hall of fame which is being held on November 10th.

Stephen who graduated from Somers High School in 1943 served in the U.S. Army in the 329th Infantry. He has also received numerous other honors and rewards including, The Purple Heart With Cluster, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and The WWII Victory Medal.
