Brewster, N.Y. – (7/30/12) –”As a huge proponent of both term limits and comprehensive ethics reform, I will not support a legislative pay hike. This is no time for the legislature to consider a pay increase, for themselves, of any sort. While one of my colleagues stood on the Senate floor shouting ‘Show me the Money!’, our time is better spent asking ‘Where are the Jobs?’ for all of New York. During these tough economic times, when blue collar families are struggling and small businesses are shutting their doors, it is insane for politicians to even consider a pay hike. We need to place a laser like focus on job creation for our constituents, and not ourselves,” said Senator Greg Ball(R, C, I-Patterson).
