Brewster, N.Y. – 9/16/2013 – Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson), Heroes in Transition and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 21, have planned a free road trip for approximately 50 local WWII veterans to visit the National WWII Memorial in Washington, DC.

The trip is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Below is a timeline of events:

4:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m., Registration and Breakfast pick up

4:45 a.m. -  Departure from Senator Ball’s District Office: 1441 Route 22, Brewster, N.Y.

8:00 a.m. – Arrival at Delaware Rest Stop

8:30 a.m. – Departure from Delaware Rest Stop

11:00 a.m. – Arrival at the WWII Memorial, Washington, D.C.

12:00 p.m. – Wreath Laying Ceremony, performed by the United States Air Force Guard

12:15 p.m. – 1: 30 p.m. – Free time to tour WWII Memorial and eat bagged lunch

1:30 p.m. – Meet back at WWII Main Gate

1:45 p.m. – Buses Depart WWII Memorial to the United States Bolling Air Force Base

2:00 p.m. – Arrival at United States Bolling Air Force Base

3:00 p.m. – Depart United States Bolling Air Force Base

9:00 p.m. – Arrival at Senator Ball’s District Office
